James Anthony Reid , a Columbus resident for 40 years was born in Durham, North Carolina. He married Darla Jean Miller they have 3 children, and 10 grandchildren. He has lived in the Eastgate Community for 36 years.
James has worked in the photographic industry for more than 50 years. His education includes Commercial Photography at the New York Institute of Photography, NYC., Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, then Catonsville Community College in Woodlawn, Maryland. James has 3 Certifications in Photo Mechanics and taught Color Separation 3 years at Columbus State.
He retired from Kreber Graphic of Columbus after 32 years. And he started his own company in 1996 “Past Pictures Enterprises”.
James is a Christian, accepting Christ in 1984.
He believes “It is our duty to give back and lighten the burden of others”
